Griffith University Nathan Campus – N34 SUB2A TR2 MSB Replacement
Further continuing our strong and successful relationship with Griffith University, Ryan Wilks has successfully replaced SUB2A TR2 MSB in the N34 Science Building and at the Nathan Campus.
Replacement of SUB2A TR2 MSB is part of the universities staging upgrades for future capacity, and compliance to the latest Australian Standards and adding safety, metering & BMS connected features. Part of this upgrade included the upgrade of consumer’s mains & sub mains suppling buildings N66 & N44.
The Ryan Wilks team completed this project with minor interruption to the university’s operations while maintaining power to large quantities of critical equipment, science laboratories & commercial area Post Office, Chemist and Cafes. Coverage of these critical items was supported by installing temporary generators to multiple buildings simultaneously within a very short downtime while coordinating the switching of the HV substation with Energex inspectors.
This project has demonstrated the Ryan Wilks team’s expertise, attention to detail and professionalism in executing complex projects for educational institutions like Griffith University.
