Griffith University Gold Coast Campus – G53 Emergency Generator MSB.
Building on our strong and successful partnership with Griffith University, Ryan Wilks has successfully completed the installation of a new G53 Emergency Generator MSB at the Gold Coast Campus. This system provides standby power to buildings G51, G52, G53, and G55.
The project was delivered with minimal disruption to the university’s operations while ensuring uninterrupted power to critical equipment in tenancies and laboratories. To achieve this, the Ryan Wilks team installed temporary generators across multiple buildings, minimising downtime during the transition. Additionally, the project involved careful coordination with Energex inspectors to manage high-voltage substation switching.
